Python Engineer

You will build the backbone of Billacle — the capture → extraction → validation → ERP-sync pipeline, APIs and integrations — with a focus on correctness, idempotency and auditability.

What you'll do

• ✓Build and harden backend services, queues and data pipelines in Python.
• ✓Develop GST/ITC reconciliation logic and ERP / payment integrations with retries and observability.
• ✓Design clean, well-tested APIs.
• ✓Own the reliability, performance and correctness of the systems you ship.

What we're looking for

• ✓5+ years in backend engineering with strong Python.
• ✓Experience with queues, integrations and data pipelines.
• ✓Test-minded, pragmatic, and comfortable owning reliability.
• ✓Bonus: document AI / OCR or Indian GST domain knowledge.
